CU-SAT provides an opportunity to the talented budding engineers to win scholarships even if they have not been able to score high marks in +2 examination.CU-SAT, thus provides a golden chance to all the students to enhance their level of merit and achieve maximum financial support.
Eligibility Criteria : A student who is currently studying in or has passed class 10+2 (Non – Medical) from a recognized school (under affiliation of CBSE/State Board/ICSE or others) for Engineering courses is eligible to appear in CU – SAT. (Provided he/ she scores minimum aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2)
Duration: Duration of test will be 1 hour.
Examination Fee : There is an Examination fee of Rs. 300 for the Scholarship cum Admission Test. The Examination Fee has to be paid in favor of CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY through notified payment modes.
Scholarship Details :
The following methodology will be adopted for calculating the merit for the scholarships to be provided to the eligible students:
1. Merit of the candidates shall be prepared as follows;
Parameters( percentage of marks) | Weightage :
CU – SAT 50%
10+2 Marks 50%
Total 100%
2. In continuation of the above, scholarships will be given as per the following criteria based on the merit as per mentioned below:
CU – SAT Rank
Group A Group B
(Top 5%)* next 5% (5-10)*
100% (of tuition fee) per sem. 75% (of tuition fee) per sem.
* Number of Scholarships shall be limited to a maximum of 300 in all streams of Engineering.
* Number of scholarships offered in each stream is subject to the maximum of 10 % of total seats offered by the University in that stream (between streams the scholarship distribution may vary).
Renewal of Scholarships: All the Scholarships shall be renewed every year subject to meeting set performance norms.
Norms for renewal of scholarship :
Scholarship shall be renewed based on the performance in the University examination, attendance and character and conduct certified by the Head of the Department. There should be no arrears at any point of time.
1. Performance: 7.5 CGPA in every year.
2. Attendance: 90% or more in each course in all semester.
3. There should be no case of Indiscipline against the student at any point of time.

Steps to Apply Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test (CU-SAT)
1. Visit Chandigarh University/CU-SAT website
2. Click Registration Form (For New User) or Enter your User/Password (Already Registered)
3. Fill your personal details and other information mentioned in registration form
4. After filling form you will get confirmation message through SMS/Email provided while registration.
5. Once you get registered. You will need to pay registration fee of Rs. 300/-
6. You can pay fee through two modes [ONLINE MODE] or [OFFLINE MODE]
