Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore announces schedule of its Common Entrance Test (CET)-2014 for admission in the following UG and PG courses being offered at its University Teaching Departments for the session 2014-15;

Minimum Percentage for Admissions and Eligibility for Appearing in Entrance Test :
Minimum percentage and admission criteria for admission to courses being offered by the University are mentioned in the Tables 1 & 2 of this document. For minimum eligibility criteria percentage of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination kindly refer to the Tables 1 & 2 of this document. A relaxation of 5% in the eligibility criteria shall be admissible to the bonafide SC/ST applicants of Madhya Pradesh only. A relaxation of 5% in eligibility will also be applicable to Physically Challenged (Nishaktjan) as defined by M.P. Government.
2 The candidates awaiting their results of qualifying examination can also apply for admission but the candidate has to submit the final mark sheet of qualifying examination by ‘09th August 2014’ or the date as decided by the University else admission will automatically be cancelled.
For admission in MBA (HA) the candidate has to submit the internship completion certificate by 9th of August 2014 else admission will automatically be cancelled.
3 Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from universities other than Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya are required to submit Eligibility Certificate issued by the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
4 Fresh admission will be given only in first semester / first year of the course.

Age Limit : As per the government rules the upper age limit for male candidates for admission to undergraduate courses is 23 years whereas for postgraduate degree courses it is 28 years as on July 01, 2014.

Fee : The application fee is Rs. 1050/- (including Rs. 50/- portal fee).
The application fee can be paid either cash at authorized kiosks of MP Online or through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Test Centers : The examination centers will be at Allahabad, Bhopal, Delhi , Gwalior, Indore, Kota and Raipur. Time and venue of test will be given along with admit card. The University reserves the right to withdraw and allocate another center

How to Apply :
i) Apply online only through mponline.gov.in, click on ‘Citizen Services’, Select ‘University’ & click on ‘DAVV’ icon. The entrance test for groups A, B, C and D will be held on ‘Thursday, 29th May, 2014’.Visit our website for admissions in above mentioned courses under category of NRI/ Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin. The entrance test will be held at Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Raipur, Allahabad, Kota, and Delhi centers.

ii) The candidates seeking admission against NRI seats shall be eligible for admission without the Entrance Test. Such candidates should fulfill the eligibility requirements for the concerned programme with atleast 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Such candidates should apply to the

Counseling schedule and guidelines will be declared along with the result of CET-2014 on the website of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The following documents are required at the time of admission ;

7. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate. Original for verification + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)
8. Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) candidate. (Original +1Photocopy (Self Attested))
9. J.K. Migrant / J.K. Resident Certificate (Original for verification) + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

12. Candidates who will be admitted on undertaking will have to produce final result (in case of result not declared at the time of first counseling) by 9th of August 2014 else admission will automatically be cancelled.
