Admission Notice
Diploma in Animal Husbandry & Dairying Programme – 2014-15
A competitive All India Entrance Examination will be held for admission to the Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Dairying on the 18th June, 2014 at the following centre;

Examination Centres: National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal (Haryana) Eastern Regional Station of National Dairy Research Institute, Kalyani (West Bengal) Southern Regional Station of National Dairy Research Institute, Bangalore (Karnataka)
The Diploma of 3 year duration will be conducted at Eastern Regional Station of National Dairy Research Institute, Kalyani, District Nadia, West Bengal from 1st August 2014.

Eligibility:
Candidates having passed their 10th Standard or equivalent examination from recognized board are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. The candidates due to appear for the final qualifying examination in 2014 may also apply, provided the results will be available on or before 21st July 2014 (date of First Counselling).
The candidates must have secured at least 50% marks for General and OBC and 40% for SC/ST and Physically Handicapped Categories in the qualifying examination.
Candidates from NEH States and their selection procedure : Five NEH states nominated candidates shall be admitted over and above the seats with the approval of competent authority.

Age Limit: Minimum age limit for candidates shall be 15 years as on 31-07-2014 and the maximum age limit shall be 21 years.

Selection Process: The selection process is detailed in the Information Bulletin which may be carefully perused by the candidates.

How to Apply:
i) Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained from the In Charge, Academic Cell, National Dairy Research Institute, Eastern Regional Station, A-12 Block, Kalyani, District Nadia- 741235 by han d(10.04.2014 to 12.05.2014) or by post from 10.04.2014 to 09.05.2014 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.600/- drawn at any nationalized bank in favour of “ERS of NDRI” payable at Kalyani along with a request stating the following information;
1. Name of the Candidate (in capital letters)
2. Full Postal Address with PIN code and Contact Number
3. Details of Demand Draft Cheque/Postal Order/money order is not acceptable.

ii) The Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be downloaded from NDRI Website.

iii) The downloaded Application Form shall be filled and submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.600/- The completed Application Form along with the necessary documents should reach the
