Mizoram University Engineering Entrance Examination 2014

Admission for first semester of 4 year B.Tech course in: Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Eligibility: A candidate who has passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized board having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) shall be eligible for admission in B.Tech. Those appearing in the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2014 may also appear in MZUEEE 2014 provisionally.

Date of Birth:-Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PWD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1984 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Syllabus: As per JEE (main)-2014.

Admission for Lateral entry in 3rd semester of B.Tech course in:- Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology , Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. (Subject to availability of seat)

Eligibility: 3 year diploma holder in engineering in relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks may apply for lateral entry. Those appearing in the final examination in 2014 may also appear in MZUEEE 2014 rovisionally.

How to Apply :
i) Prescribed application forms will be available in the office of the Controller of Examination, Mizoram University during office hours on payment of Rs 700/-(Rs 350/- for SC/ST Candidate) in cash or through Demand draft in favour of Controller of Examination, Mizoram University. Application forms can be obtained through post by remitting Rs 50/- extra as postal charges from Controller Office. Form downloaded from university website should be submitted with required fees.
