Common Admission – B. Ed. Course 2014-15

Applications in prescribed form are invited from fresh and deputed candidates for admission to the B. Ed. course (session 2014-15) at the Department of Education, University of Kalyani and affiliated Colleges.

Eligibility: (As per NCTE norms)
i. Candidates should be graduate (10+2+3) in a school subject from a recognized University.
ii. Fresh candidates should have at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree/or in the Master’s Degree in school subject. For ‘Master’s Degree’, courses of two years duration will be considered for scoring.
iii. For fresh candidates with Honours ( in Bachelor degree) in school subject, only the marks obtained in Honours subject will be considered. In case of general Graduates, the total marks obtained in general subjects will be considered.
iv. The reservation in seats and relaxation of qualifying marks in favour of the reserved category shall be as per Government rules.

Application fee : Rs.300/- for General candidates & Rs.150/- for SC/ST is to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India using the three parts Fee Payment Challan.

How to Apply :
i) Application forms along with Instruction sheet & three parts Fee Payment Challan can be downloaded from University Website.

ii) Filled in applications along with part of the three parts Fee Payment Challan is to be submitted by hand in the Admission section from 2nd April to 21st April, 2014 between 11.00 a .m. to 3.00 p.m. on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
