H’ Form Online Application :
Dept. of Value Added Tax UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli Summary This document is a step by step user guide for the registered dealers of Department of Value Added Tax, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli to use the e-CST module of the VATSoft application. Using this module, the dealer scan submit online applications for H-Forms, and upon approval, H-Forms can be directly printed from their respective login.

Under the guidance of Ministry of Finance, Department of Value Added Tax has taken up the initiative of offering online services to the registered dealers at the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. As part of this project, the online services such as e-Registration, e-Returns and e-Payment were launched during August 2011. The e-CST module was launched effective from 19th February 2014. The dealers can avail the facility of submitting online requests for new H-Forms, take printout from their respective login.

There are two options for dealers for application of H form.

The dealer may choose any one of the below options :

Screen Based Entry :
I. After entering the credentials user redirected to the below screen Under the section ‘ONLINE CST FORMS’ click on the link ‘Request Entry’.
II. Select the form type-H and click on the button ‘Go’
III. Enter the required details in the below screen. It is mandatory to enter transportation details of any one invoice.
IV. After entering all the details click ‘Add’ button. Upon clicking ADD button the invoice details will be saved, thus you can enter the details of all the invoices.
V. Select the document type and ‘Browse’ to upload the required document from your computer/laptop etc.
VI. Browse and upload the document (JPEG/PDF) as described in below screen shot. The dealers have to upload Bill of lading or customs document of any one invoice mandatorily.
VII. Click on Update Main Details to save all the details entered.
VIII. Click on the Update and submit link on ONLINE CST FORMS section for submission of application.
IX. User click ‘Select’ link to see the application.
X. Click ‘Update and Submit Form’ for submission of H form application.
XI. User click on ‘Print’ button to print the acknowledgement slip as depicted in the below screen. To complete the H form application process dealers have to submit Hard Copies of all the supporting documents along with the acknowledgement slip within 3 days to the Department Single Window.
XII. Dealers can view the status of application through Status link from the Online CST Form section.
XIII. Dealers can click Resubmit link as depicted in below screen to resubmit the application for H Form.
XIV. Upon approval dealers can download and print the H Form through the link Print.

File Based Entry :
I. The below screen depicted the procedure for application for H form. The user can click on Reports and Help and download convertor.
II. Click on Convertor link.
III. Click on Download button to download.
IV. The application provides the compressed file name ‘VATeFSConvert’. Save the file in the computer.
V. Unzip the document file and save it to the computer.
VI. The file saves into the VATeFSConvert.
VII. Enter/Paste details as required in the excel sheet in the required format.
VIII. After entering/pasting the details in the correct format, click on the button ‘Convert to XML’. Please note, the convert to xml button should be clicked only after entering all the desired invoice detail in this excel sheet.
IX. Select the H Form and click on the Upload button to upload the document.
X. Select the document file from the computer (earlier it was saved in the VATeFSConvertor folder).
XI. Enter the required details and Upload the file.
XII. Click on the Update and submit link on ONLINE CST FORMS section for submission of application.
XIII. User click ‘Select’ link to see the application.
XIV. Click ‘Update and Submit Form’ for submission of H form application.
XV. User click on ‘Print’ button to print the acknowledgement slip as depicted in the below screen. To complete the H form application process dealers have to submit Hard Copies of all the supporting documents along with the acknowledgement slip within 3 days to the Department Single Window.
