NHPC Limited, a ‘Mini Ratna’, Schedule – A Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India, having established itself as the premier organization in Hydropower Sector in the country, is now expanding and diversifying to excel in other sectors of power development including Thermal, Solar and Wind Power – both within the country as well as abroad.

Max. Age (as on 01.04.14) : 53 Yrs.
Minimum Qualification & Experience : Full time regular B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE.
Experience:
i) Post qualification experience of 23 years in PSUs/ Central/ State Govt. Utilities, out of which 13 years experience should be in Coal based Thermal Power Sector and 03 years experience should be in the level of E7 in the pay scale of (51300-3%-73000) (IDA).
ii) Out of the above experience, the candidate should have association of at least 05 years in the field of Engineering/ Construction/ Erection/ Testing & Commissioning/ Operation & Maintenance of Thermal Projects/ Plants of at least 200 MW.
Selection Process: The names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed at nhpcindia.com. Separate individual e-mails will also be sent to the shortlisted candidates. The Final selection of the Candidate will be based on the performance in the interview, whereafter the “Offer of Appointment” shall be issued. Selected candidate will be on probation for one year.
Fee : Candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of 250/-. The SC/ST/PwD category candidates need not pay the registration fee.
