Applications in the prescribed form, given in the advertisement, are invited, from the eligible candidates for recruitment of the posts as indicated below on or before 31st March, 2014. “Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate for employment under this University.” A note of this instruction should be taken seriously.

A) Other Staff:
1 Name of the post : Medical Officer
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400

Qualifications : M.B.B.S. degree recognized by the Medical Council of India/State Government.

2 Name of the post : Security Officer
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600
No. of post : 1
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s Degree of any recognized University with good health.
2. Knowledge of rules or methods of security works and should have completed course in security with at least
five years experience in reputed concern. OR
Minimum two years service in Police Department as Sub-Inspector or above post or Head-Constable or
Junior Commissioned Officer in Military. OR
Minimum two years experience in Supervisory capacity or above in any of the Industrial Training Institute
or Government Security Branch is essential. OR
Ex-Police Officer/Ex-Serviceman or it’s equivalent with good record of service.

3 Name of the post : Assistant Engineer
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400
No. of post : 1
Qualifications :
i) Bachelor’s degree in concerned subject*.
ii) Three years experience as Junior Engineer.
OR
Diploma in concerned subject with eight years experience.
* Concerned subject means ‘Civil Engineering’.

4 Name of the post : Assistant Registrar / Assistant Comptroller
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600

Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in any faculty of Statutory University, at least in IInd class. Preference will be given to the highly qualified candidates. Provided that the University employees having more than 15 years of experience will be exempted from the requirement of class at the Bachelor’s degree.
2. Ten years experience of the official work of Government/renowned Semi-Government organization/recognized Universities/recognized Industrial/ Educational Institutes/Local bodies, out of which three years experience must be in the cadre of office Superintendent or it’s equivalent posts.
3. Knowledge of Computer operations is essential. Moreover the candidate should have passed the Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology course from a Government recognized institute.”

Age Limit :
The existing rules of the State Govt. in respect of age limit will be applicable for the advertised posts. The maximum age limit will be 33 years for the candidates from open category and 38 years for the candidates from reserved categories.
The age limit is not applicable to the persons who are already in service on regular establishment of State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra.

Fee : Open category-Rs.500/- (Rs. Five hundred only); Reserved categories -Rs.250/- (Rs. Two hundred fifty only)
The application fee should be remitted into the University bank account, viz. “Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth – Recruitment Account No. 33159944568, State Bank of India, Dapoli” by cash or through online from any of the Nationalised Bank.
The zerox copy of the counter-foil of the chalan should be attached with the application form.
The details of name and post for which application is made should be invariably mentioned on the copy of the counter-foil of the chalan.
The candidates from handicapped category and ex-service men of military services are exempted from payment of the application fees.
No amount in form of Cash, Demand Draft and IPO will be accepted.
