1.Name of the post : Professor
Pay Scale : (PB -4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10, 500/-)
Qualification: PhD
Experience: 10 Years after PhD or 13 Years to tal (not counting PhD enrollment period) out of which 7 years ar e to be after PhD. At least 3 Years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution of repute
Other Essential Requirements:
1. Two PhD degrees guided in career as sole or principal supervisor.
2. Three papers in SCI Journals (in past 4 years)
3. One high value sponsored or consultancy project (in past 4 years)
4. Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed cour ses of fer ed as coordinator and main teacher (in past 4 years).
5. Two experiments or computational design projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate (in past 4 years)
Additional Desirable Requirements:
1. One or more patents
2. Supervised more than 3 students for PhD
3. Preparing E-learning material
4. At least one self-financed short-term course offered every year
5. Strong liaison with Industry
6. Offering significant support to Institute Management
7. High value sponsored or consultancy projects

2.Name of the post : Associate Professor
Pay Scale : (PB -4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 9, 500/-)
Qualification: PhD
Experience: 6 Years after PhD or 9 Years total (not counting PhD enrollment period) out of which 3 years should be after PhD. Three years at the level of Asst. Professor with AGP of Rs. 8000/- or equivalent in a reputed Institute, R&D Lab. or relevant Industry.
Other Essential Requirements:
1. Four papers in SCI Journals after Ph. D
2. One PhD guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing.
3. Two projects on-going or one ongoing plus one completed
4. Two experiments or computational project added to teaching laboratories where appropriate. Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed short term courses.
Additional Desirable Requirements:
1. One or more patents
2. Supervising 2 or more students for PhD
3. Strong liaison with Industry
4. Offering courses through application of ICT

3.Name of the post : Assistant Professor
Pay Scale : (PB -3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,000/-)
Qualification: PhD
Experience: 3 Years after PhD or 6 years total (not counting PhD enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech degree.
Other Essential Requirements:
1. Two papers in SCI Journals outside PhD work
2. One on-going sponsored project for candidates from academia.
3. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate.
Additional Desirable Requirements:
1. One Ph. D supervision on-going
2. One patent
3. Experience in Industry or R&D laboratories of repute
4. M. Tech / MSc /B. Tech projects supervision on live Industrial problems

4.Name of the post : Assistant Professor (Contractual)
Pay Scale : (PB -3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/ + 07 additional non compoundable for PhD candidates)
Qualification: PhD (M. Tech candidates with good academics record can also be considered)

Additional Desirable Requirement: One Publication in an SCI Journal
