The electricity bill has been issued for the first time on 03/03/2014 after the installation of meter in the month of October 2013. My query is when I enter the account No mentioned on the electricity bill for making the payment online and press the button ADD every time it shows “INVALID ACCOUNT NUMBER PLEASE PROVIDE CORRECT NO. MENTIONED ON YOUR BILL” Please guide how to check my account No.( My Account No.is J53UF372317H)
Did you get resolution?
When I enter the account no for on line payment , note appears that bill is not updated. What can I do.
Try to check after few days. It may get updated.
My electricity connection was approved in September-13 and the meter was installed.
But, till now I have not received any electricity bill. Could you please let me know if there is any way by which I can know my Account number and check online to see if the bill is generated?

For on line payment requirement is to quote 12 digit Acct.No,where as the Acct No. Available on Power Bills is of 10 digits,as may be seen in my case

The payment through cheques is being made by me/accepted on this acct No. Shall feel obliged for the clarification , rather would like you to quote me the relevant 12 digit Acct No. so as to enable me to make on line payment
You need to provide the account number which is mentioned on the bill.
When the amount is deducted from the account,receipt is not generated. How to know whether the bill is paid or not?
What is status of tubewell connection aplied upto 2007 ?
E-BILL IS NOT GENERATED IN THE ONLINE PAYMENT.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY E-BILL till 22/01/2014 . MY BILL IS GENERATED ON 16/01/2014.
How to get receipt for online bill payment?
During the online payment,once you enter your bank details you will get the receipt with all your transaction details in screen. After that you can print the same.

There are 3 numbers 1.Bill No. 2.Consumer No. & 3. Contract A/c No. on the electricity Bill , which number is to be used as account no. while paying the bill online? consumer no. Consists both of alphabet and numeric which are not clearly legible on the bill as the printing is not dark enough. Is there any way to find out the correct no. from the system by feeding any other particular?
