Applications on plain paper with complete bio-data including passport size photograph, Name, Date of birth, age, postal address, E-mail address, full details of educational qualifications from 10th class onwards (SSLC)stating the marks, rank, year of passing, name of university 1board, research experience details etc. along with attested photocopies of candidate’s professional and academic certificates are invited from Indian nationals for ONE post of Project Assistant to work in the Science And Engineering Research Board sponsored research project on “Design & synthesis of colorimetric Chemosensors for Environment Pollutant Cations” in the DEPARTMENTOF CHEMISTRY, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangalore for a period of THREE-years. Selected candidate willbe encouraged to register for the Ph.D programme at NITK.
Applications complete in all respects should be sent to the Principal Investigator on or before 31/03/2014 5.00 PM through speed post only.
Candidates with the knowledge and experience of organic synthesis and research experience in relevant field will be given preference. Date of interview will be communicated to eligible candidates through email only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. Selected candidates must be in a position to join the position immediately. The principal Investigator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
