Contest “Dis-moi dix mots 2014″
On the occasion of the “French language week” celebrations for the year 2014, the Alliance Française of Madras is organizing several contests around these 10 French words chosen by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, France:
“ambiancer”, “à tire-larigot”, “charivari”, “enlivrer (s’)”, “faribole”, “hurluberlu”, “ouf”, “timbré”, “tohu-bohu”, “zigzag”.
These competitions are open not only to students of the Alliance Française but also to students of Schools, Colleges and Universities of Tamil Nadu.
There are lots of prizes to be won (dictionaries, books, French language manuals, DVD’s, and many other goodies). All contestants will receive a participation certificate.
The contests are divided into 7 categories depending on the level of the students:
** Students of the Alliance Française of Madras (Level 1, Teens 1, 2 & 3)
** Students of the Alliance Française of Madras in Coimbatore, Madurai & Trichy (Level 1)
** Students of the Alliance Française of Madras (Level 2, Teens 4, 5 & 6)
** Students of the Alliance Française of Madras (Level 3)
** Students of the Alliance Française of Madras (Level 4 & 5)
** Schools students of Tamil Nadu
** BA or MA French students of Tamil Nadu
** College and University students of Tamil Nadu (non BA or MA French students)
The contests are already open on the social networking site « Rendez-vous in Chennai » (french-collegeroad.ning.com/) and will be on until 20 March 2014.
For more information, the participants are requested to sign up for the social network, « Rendez-vous in Chennai » (french-collegeroad.ning.com/). Registration for this site is free and open to all.
Contestants are requested to read the instructions available both in English and French for the various contests. (Click on the corresponding links present on the home page of the website Rendez-vous in Chennai).
