Applications are invited for Full Time/Part Time Ph.D programme in various Departments and Centers of the Institute

Name of the Course : Full Time/Part Time Ph.D programme
Eligibility: Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0) from a recognized university, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms.

Selection The valid GATE/NET qualified candidates only will be selected for the full time programme. Limited research fellowships are available under Institute fellowship, TEQIP-II fellowship and MNRE fellowship.

Processing fee :
For General/OBC candidates : Rs. 800/-
For SC/ST candidates : Rs. 400/-

How to Apply :
i) Completed application only in prescribed format will be accepted. The application form can be downloaded from the Institute website

ii) The application forms completed in all respects along with the (SBI Collect receipt) non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 800/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates, should be submitted to

by 15.04.2014. The payment of processing fee is to be done only through SBI online “SBI Collect” into MANIT account. The application form can be downloaded from MANIT website or can be collected from admission section, MANIT, by paying Rs. 100/- through IPO payable to ”Director, MANIT, Bhopal” or through post by sending a self addressed A4 size envelope with IPO of Rs. 100/- payable to “Director, MANIT, Bhopal” Institute will not be responsible for any postal delays.

iii) Envelope must contain the header “Application form for Ph.D. Admission in the Department/ Center of ________________”.

iv) If they wish to apply to different Departments/ Centers, she/he has to apply separate application with additional amount. Applications received after due date will be rejected. No individual information for the test/interview will be send.

v) The schedule of the Test/Interview will be displayed on the Institute website. The Candidates are advised to check the Institute website periodically after submitting their applications. The candidates who are completing post graduation during academic year 2013-2014 also can apply.
