No. of post : One Post (Social Anthropology or Microbiology)
Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 GP-4600 6th CPC part A
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years

Qualification & Experience: Three years Graduate Degree in required subject with 5 years of experience or 3 years graduate degree in related subjects with Diploma in required subject or P.G degree (preferable) in required subject rom a recognized university/institute with three years experience in a Govt. recognized institute/ organization.

Fee : IPO/Demand draft for Rs.100/- or (SC/ST/PWDs candidates are exempted) drawn in favor of Director, RMRC, Port Blair

Age Limit:
i) Not exceeding 35 years- Relaxation will be allowed to SC/ST/OBCs/PWDs as per GOI rules. Government servant/in service candidates will be allowed 5 years relaxation, SC/ST, OBC, Ex- Servicemen and PWDs will be allowed relaxation as per GOI rules applicable from time to time.
ii) OBC candidates are required to submit the caste certificate as per GOI rules/ instructions latest by 3 years old from the date of publication of this notification and issued by competent authority in the prescribed format.”Form of certificates to be produced by other backward classes applying for appointment to post under the Government of India.”
iii) Candidates working (as on the date of notification) on long term Projects in ICMR or in ICMR Institutes/Centres will be given “One time” age relaxation.
Note: UR- Unreserved, SC/ST-Scheduled Castes/Tribes, OBC- Other Backward Classes, PWDs- Person with Disabilities.

How to Apply:
i) Candidates who wish to apply for the post can send in their applications on a plain paper with their detailed bio-data enclosing attested copies of certificates/testimonials and research publications etc. in support of the qualification, age, caste etc. & experience, of the applicant along-with a crossed IPO/Demand draft must reach the undersigned on or before the closing date of submission of application as indicated above.

ii) Original copies of certificate should be submitted at the time of test/interview.

iii) The Director RMRC, Port Blair reserves the right to reject the applications or to cancel the notification without assigning any reasons thereof. Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

iv) Application from employees working in the Central/State Govt. Department, Public Sector Undertaking and Govt. funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel.
