Applications in prescribed form of application which can be downloaded from NRHM Website along with all attested copies of certificate, mark sheets, experience etc. are invited for engagement on contractual basis for the following positions of IDSP, Assam. The applicant shall have no claim in future for absorption/regularization in a Government job. Further the candidate must be ready to join in any place on a transferable basis.

1.Name of the post : Epidemiologist
No. of post : 1 at State HQ & 5 at District level
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
(a) Medical Graduate (MBBS) with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine /Public Health or Epidemiology (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE etc)
(b) Medical Graduate (MBBS) with 2 years experience in Public Health.
(c) Medical Graduate (Ayur) preferably MPH/DPH. (d) Medical Graduate (Homeo) preferably MPH/DPH.
(e) M.Sc. (Epidemiology) with 2 years experience in Public Health.
(f) Post Graduate in the field of Life Science, Social Science or Statistics with experience in Public Health.
Age limit :
(a) 40 years or below
(b) i.40 years or below ii. (Retired person from Public Health background)
(c) 40 years or below
d) 40 years or below
(e) 40 years or below
(f) 40 years or below
Salary :
(a) Rs- 50,000/- per month.
(b) Rs- 40,000/- per month.
(c) Rs- 40,000/- per month.
(d) Rs- 30,000/- per month,
(e) Rs- 30,000/- per month,
(f) Rs- 30,000/- per month

2. Name of the post : Microbiologist
No. of post : 2 nos. at Districts Public Health Laboratory
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
In order of preference either of the below;
(a) Medical Graduate (MBBS) with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (Microbiology).
(b) Medical Graduate with 2 years experience in clinical laboratory sciences.
(c) M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology.
Age limit : 40 years or below.
Salary :
(a) Rs 50,000/-pm
(b) Rs 40,000/-pm
(c) Rs 30,000/- pm
