Terms and Condition :
** Job-seekers are advised to read the Terms of Use carefully. Agreement to the Terms of Use is necessary for further access to the web portal.
** Directorate of Employment, Labour Department, Government of West Bengal reserves the right, to modify the terms, either partially or fully at any time.
** The job-seeker will be solely responsible for authenticity of any information supplied by him/her and also for updating it periodically. Information so received from the job seeker shall be accessible by any Employer/Placement agency, whatsoever, using the services of the Employment Bank portal.
** Although the Employment Directorate shall undertake primary verification of documents like trade licence, incorporation certificates, PAN cards etc, Employers and Placement Agencies shall be solely responsible for the authenticity of data and other details relating to the offer of employment. Employment Directorate under the Government of West Bengal is neither responsible for the selection/non selection of any candidate by the respective Employer of Placement Agency, nor it shall be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the job seekers if any, for using the services of the web portal. Directorate of Employment shall not be responsible for job offer, terms of employment, and/or conditions of service.
** Posting of irrelevant, defamatory, obscene, communal, racist, offensive, abusive, hateful, discriminatory contents or resume whether implicitly or explicitly is strictly prohibited. Employment Bank portal must not be used for causing social tension, anxiety, harassment, inconvenience or embarrassment, or disturbing the spirit of national integration to any person or group of persons. No one shall use the services for any illegal or immoral purpose with malafide intentions and ulterior motives.
** Penal action may be taken for supplying incomplete, false, inaccurate, objectionable or misleading information or for violation of any of the terms and particulars of such persons may be immediately removed from database.
** The job-seekers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account and will immediately notify by “CONTACT US” of any unauthorized use of their account and password.
** For any settlement of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction shall be Kolkata High Court or subordinate judiciary as the case may be within territory of state of West Bengal.

1. Job seekers have to fill all compulsory fields (indicated by * mark)
2. Mobile and e-mail will play an important part in this portal. All information will be delivered through sms / email. Such information will be missed if you do not give neither of the two. In case of any change in mobile No. or email ID please update your profile accordingly.
3. Select S/C, S/T, OBC etc only if you have certificates in support of the same.

Experience Detail :
If you do not find suitable item in the ‘Experience Type’ field which is drop-down based, select ‘OTHERS’. A text box will open. Write the exact key words (maximum two) of your ‘Experience Type’ To fill ‘Experience Sector’ select from the drop-down menu the appropriate sector in which you have worked.

Change Your Password / Forget Password :
For change of your password go to this menu and follow the instructions. If you forget your password and are unable to recover it go to your nearest Employment Exchange for assistance.

Job-Search :
You can search jobs by location, by qualification and by sectors at present. If the place of employment is within West Bengal, jobs can be searched upto the district level. If the place of work is outside the State, jobs can be searched upto State – level only.

View / Update Profile :
1. You can view your profile after getting user ID and password
2. You cannot change inputs in the fields like : Name, Father’s / Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, qualification / experience (already entered ones)
3. You can update your profile in the fields : Mobile No. / email, address, language proficiency, physical measurement, experience detail (can add new) etc without verification by the Employment exchange
4. You can update fields like – Qualification detail (can add new), caste/OBC, Physically Challenged subject to verification by the Employment Exchange again

Already Registered With Employment Exchanges :
** He/she can update the record and enrol for Employment Bank by giving inputs to the Registration Number (as written in his / her Employment Exchange Identity Card) and Date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) field.
** No validation by Employment Exchange is required in this case.
** If any additional qualification is required to be entered, do so by using ‘Add New’ option below the qualification table. In this case verification by the Employment Exchange will be required.
