The Indian Institute of Public Administration, an apex National Institute for the study of Governance, engaged in high end Research and Training programmes for the Union and State Governments, Public Sector Enterprises and not-for Profit Organisations, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Chair Professor (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair) on Empowerment & Development of Weaker Sections in Indian Society on deputation/ contract basis for a period of 2 years extendable on the basis of one’s performance in the prescribed forms, obtainable free of charge from the Registrar on request accompanied by a self addressed envelope (25cm x 10cm) duly stamped for Rs.10/-.

Age limit: below 50 Yrs.

Essential Qualifications and Experience :
(a) An eminent scholar with Ph. D or with published work of high quality in Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, Constitutional Law or Ambedkar Studies actively enaged in research with 10 years experience in Post Graduate teaching and / or experience in Research at the University/National Level Institution, including experience of guiding Research at Doctoral level. Or
(b) An outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge on one of the above areas.
(c) The applicant should possess adequate knowledge and working experience on Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts and works and proved commitment to the cause of Social Justice / Human Rights including emancipation of Dalits, Backward caste / Classes, Women and Minorities.
