Online Electricity Bill Payment :
Step 1 :
Please log on the website of Chandigarh Administration http://chandigarh.gov.in/

Step 2 :
Please click on Pay Electricity/Water Bills under the heading “How Do I”.

Step 3 :
Please register on the website by creating user name and password.

Step 4 :
This will enable the consumer to – (1) pay his bills and (2) Check Electricity/ Water Payment.

Step 5 :
Please click on “PAY YOUR BILLS”, you will get following window opened :-
By logging in, consumer can his electricity bill through direct debit (Axis bank) and credit cards.
For direct debit, consumer should have Axis bank Internet Banking account ‘IConnect’.

Step 6 :
After paying your bills, you can check the electricity/water bill payment status for the confirmation.

Procedure For Retrieving Electricity Bill Online :
Step 1 :
Please log on the website of Chandigarh Electricity Department which is http://www.chdengineering.gov.in/

Step 2 :
Please click on “Electricity Department”.

Step 3 :
Please click on “Check your Bill”.

Step 4 :
Please select the consumer category for which you want to retrieve the electricity bill.

Step 5 :
Please enter your account number and meter number as per following pattern :-
Account No. 303/2842/119402K as 3032842119402K
Meter number CHEP 52806 as CHEP52806
Then clink on “View Bill”.

Step 6 :
By clicking on “View Bill”, you will get following window opened which is your latest electricity bill.

Step 7 :
By right clicking of the mouse and giving “Print” command, you can get the print of your latest electricity bill.

Know About Chandigarh Engineering Department New Connection Formalities :
Pre-Requisite Formalities While Applying For A New Electricity Connection.

Domestic Supply & Non-Residential Supply Connections :
** Application and Aggrement form and Requisition forms, duly filled.
** Security and service connection charges as per load.
** Blank stamp paper of Rs.3, duly crossed & signed.
** Affidavit on plain paper that the connection will not be misused for commercial purpose – In case of domestic connections only.
** Certificate from wiring contractor regarding execution of work.
** Proof of ownership.
** Indemnity Bond with two sureties- For tenants without consent of Landlord.
** Allotment & Possession letter- In case of Govt. houses.
** Authorized signatory-In case of commercial connection.
** Copy of G.P.A in case of power of attorney.
** Proof of identity( Any one)i.e. Valid Passport , Valid Driving License, Employee Identity Card, Election ID Card , Valid Photo Debit/Credit Card , Valid PAN Card, Pension Payment Order, Freedom Fighter Pass , Valid Arms License , Valid Bar Council id.

For Industrial Connection :
** Application and Agreement form & Requisition forms, duly filled in Duplicate.
** Security and service connection charges as per load and instructions of the Deptt.
** Blank stamp paper of Rs.3/-, duly crossed & signed.
** Registration with S.S.I of Chandigarh Admn.
** Clearance from Pollution Control Board.
** Proof of ownership .
** Proof of tenancy in case of tenants.
** Intimation slip from contractor regarding load details.
** Authorized signatory in case of firms.
** Copy of G.P.A in case of power of attorney.
** Proof of identity( Any one)i.e. Valid Passport , Valid Driving License, Employee Identity Card, Election ID Card , Valid Photo Debit/Credit Card , Valid PAN Card, Pension Payment Order, Freedom Fighter Pass , Valid Arms License , Valid Bar Council id.
