Olympian Suresh Babu Memorial 4th Kerala State Youth Athletics Championship 2014 :
Olympian Suresh Babu Memorial 4th Kerala State Youth Athletics Championship 2014 will be held at Maharaja’s College Stadium, Kochi on 6th and 7th April 2014
In partial modification to the Calendar already published, the Olympian Suresh Babu Memorial 4th Kerala State Youth Athletics Championship will be held at Maharaja’s College Stadium, Kochi on 6th and 7th April 2014.
Competitions will be held for Youth Boys and Youth Girls Under 18 years. For details of events please click on Technical Details of the events -Event List- given on the left side of this page
Athletes with Ten digits Registration Number issued by the Association only will be allowed to participate in the Championship. For online registration please Click on Registration given on the Toolbar above
Athletes born on or after 23/04/1996 are eligible to participate
A District can field only three athletes for an event and an athlete can take part in two events and relay. If the two individual events are track events only one of these individual events are longer than 200m. No reserve entry shall be considered.
The Kerala State team which is to participate in the 11th National Youth athletics Championship to be held in Bambolim Stadium, Goa on 20th 21st and 22nd April 2014 will be selected based on the performance of this Meet
Indian athletes, for participation in Qualifying Competition for Youth Olympic Games, NANJING 2014, to be held in Bangkok on 21st& 22nd May 2014, will be selected on the basis of performance of the 11th National Youth Championships. For this purpose athletes born in 1997 and 1998 only will be considered.
Team championship will be declared on the basis of points i.e 1st – 7 points, 2nd – 5 points, 3rd – 4 points, 4th – 3 points, 5th – 2 points, 6th – 1 point and it shall be declared section wise

Selection Trials :
1. Trials will be conducted to select the Kerala State team which is to participate in the 12th Federation Cup National Junior Athletics Championship to be held at Chennai from 9th to 11th May 2014, along with the 4th Kerala State Youth Athletics Championship on 6th and 7th April 2014.
2. Athletes born between 12/05/1994 and 31/12/1998 are eligible to participate in the selection trials for the Junior Federation Cup Kerala Team
3. Athletes born in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 only will be considered for selection/participation in Asian Junior Athletics Championship to be held in Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) from 12th to 15th June 2014.
4. Only registered athletes will be allowed to participate in the trials
5. Entry of athletes from your district shall be sent online before 27th March 2014. Entry is based on the 10 digits number allotted by the Association.
