Qualification and Pay Scale:
I. Teaching Positions: Engineering / Technology:
1. Assistant Professor :
A M. Tech. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Ph.D. Degree; Teaching, research, industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization; Paper presented at Conference and /or in refereed journals
Pay scale: PB-3 (Rs.15, 600- 39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-)
2. Associate Professor :
A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Research Publications in reputed journals; Patent filed/obtained, books and or technical reports. Doctoral supervision and/ or supervising Sponsored R&D projects
Pay scale: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400- 67,000/- + AGPRs. 9,000/-)
3. Professor :
Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s / equivalent degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Research Publications in reputed journals; Patent filed/obtained, books and or technical reports. Ph.D Supervision; Capacity to undertake / lead Sponsored R&D projects, Consultancy and related activities.
Pay scale: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400 -67,000/- + AGP Rs.10,000/-)
II. Teaching Positions: Science and Humanities :
Assistant Professor :
A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
Pay scale: PB-3 (Rs.15, 600-39,100/- + AGP Rs. 6000/-)
Associate Professor :
A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Research Publications (minimum five numbers) in reputed journals; Patent filed/obtained, books. Ph. D. Supervisions and /or supervising Sponsored R&D projects. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses.
Pay scale: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400- 67,000/- + AGP Rs. 9,000/-)
Professor : A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at M.Sc. / M. A. / M. Tech. or equivalent in appropriate discipline with a very good academic record throughout.
Desirable: Research Publications (minimum ten numbers) in reputed journals; Patent filed/obtained, books. Ph.D. Supervision; Supervision of Sponsored R&D projects, Consultancy. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses
Pay scale: PB-4 (Rs. 37,400 -67,000/- + AGP Rs.10,000/-)
Fee : Demand Draft of Rs 500/-, drawn in favour of “NIFFT, Ranchi” payable at any nationalized bank in Ranchi for each application (50% in case of SC / ST & fully exempted for women & PwD candidates).
