  1. What is pollination ? What are the benefits of cross pollination . Describe the contrivances of cross pollination?

    1. Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred in the reproduction of plants, thereby enabling fertilization and reproduction.

      Contrivances of cross pollination :
      Flowers by nature are mostly cross pollinated. There are various adaptations for this process. In unisexual and bisexual flowers, certain devices are present for effective cross pollination and avoiding self pollination.
