Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens for the post of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer[Deputy Cammandant] (Group Combatised) for Air Wing in the Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The post is temporary but likely to become permanent.
Name of the post: Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer[Deputy Cammandant] (Group Combatised)
Age Limit: ‘Not Exceeding Thirty Five Years.’
Educational Qualification :
[A] (i) Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in any one Category of Avionics or (A,C]/(HA & [E] in Mechanical stream; and
[ii] Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on type of Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF[As prescribed from time to time as per requirement]; or
[B] [i] Holder of Engineering Degree qr equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Tele-Communications or Aeronautical stream [for Ml-17 [V]; or
Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination license in Air Frame (A) or Engine [C] or (HA or ]E] [for Advance Light Helicopters]; and
(ii) Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of three years including one year as Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on type of Aircraft or Helicopters held by prescribed from time to time as per requirement).
Selection Procedure : The selection procedure will be as under:
1. First Phase : Written Examination
2. Second Phase : i) Documentation ;ii) Oral cum Practical Test
3. Third Phase : i) Interview; ii) Medical examination
Fee : Rupees one hundred only (Rs. 100/-) payable through DD/IPO in favour of “Commandant 25 En BSF” Payable at SBI – ADB Najafgarh, Code No – 001419. Fee is exempted for Women candidates, BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe category.
