Niramaya Scheme Renewal :
Appeal to all ROs for on-line Enrollment / Renewal of beneficiaries and intimation regarding enhancement of incentive for enrollment.
Beneficiaries covered under Niramaya Policy from 2012 – 2013.
Every year kindly renew the policy, as per the details given below :
For coverage date 2nd April – By 28th February
For coverage date 2nd October – By 31st August
While applying for renewal, kindly quote the bank details of beneficiary as it is Mandatory for reimbursement of claim.
Niramaya Renewal :
All NGOs and beneficiaries are reqquested to kindly renew their Niramaya policy for the coverage date of 2nd April, 2013. The online renewal will be open from 1st Jan 2014 to 28th Feb 2014.
Please note that NIRAMAYA is a health insurance scheme and not the Life Insurance Scheme. As per the policy eligible claims will be reimbursed. In case of death of beneficiary no any claim/compensation will be payable under this scheme.

Renewal Fee under Niramaya :
Enrolment fee under the Scheme can be paid either by DD/ NEFT or cash only (not by Cheque) in National Trust (Niramaya) account.
The enrolment fee is for one year. This means, every year the renewal of policy has to be done online through niramayascheme.com and the fee has to be paid as per the applicable rate (fixed by National trust) directly in the Bank, in any branch, as per the details given below:

Printing of E-Card :
As a document of policy coverage, provision of printing of E-Card has been started by using Application ID No., through our website.
As the Niramaya scheme does not have cashless facility, there is no need for the card. For reimbursement of claim, you may mention Application ID No. / Health ID No. and enclose any Identity proof.
However, those beneficiaries who are not able to print E-Card can also claim for reimbursement by giving their Health ID No.
Print Ecard:
The E-Cards of beneficiary for April 2014 renewal can be download by clicking on Print E Card after 2.4.2014.

I want to renew my son’s Niramaya card. What are the procedures to be followed? I couldn’t renew it after 2010. Coverage date started on 2nd Oct 2009.

ICICI Lombard has not reimbursed a single paisa of my claim in 2014 – 2015 coverage despite furnishing bank NEFT details copy of ID. It is very curious. What is the last date of new nirmaya enrollment form?
The last date to submit online renewal has been extended upto 14th Sept.., 2014.
I enrolled for my brother who is a c.p.patient. His application id is 71350928032014 but when I try to print e card it shows wrong. Please tell me why this is happening?
