Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation Limited, Chennai has invited applications from the eligible candidates for the following posts

1.Name of the post : Driver
No. of post : 6
Scale of Pay: Rs.5,200 – 20,200 + GP.2,400
Qualification :
I) Must possess a Light / Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence with experience for a period of not less than five years as a driver.
II) Must have experience for a period of not less than one year in any Automobile Workshops in attending to minor repairs.
Essential :
1. Must have passed VIIIth Standard
2. Must possess Public Service Badge valid in Tamil Nadu.
Height: (Minimum) 160 Cms.;
Weight:(Minimum) 48 Kgs.
Minimum Age Limit : 24 years
Maximum Age Limit : 40 Years for OC, BC and MBC/DNC : 45 Years for S.C./S.T.

2.Name of the post : Refrigeration Operator

Scale of Pay: Rs.5,200 – 20,200 + GP.1,800
Qualification :
i) Should have passed VIIIth Std. and should possess a Trade Certificate in Electrician or Fitter or Mechanic or a Certificate in Refrigeration or Mechanic (Refrigeration and Air-conditioning) issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trade.
ii) Preference will be given to those who possess a certificate in Refrigeration.
iii) Further provided preference shall be given to persons who have completed one year of Apprenticeship under the Government of India Scheme.
Age limit : Maximum age of 30 as on 01/07/2014

3.Name of the post : Helper
No. of post : 4
Scale of Pay: Rs.4,800 – 10,000 + GP.1,400
Qualification :
I. Should have passed VIIIth std.
II. Should have the physical capacity for hard job.
Age limit : Maximum age of 30 ,as on 01/07/2014

Fee : Demand Draft – Rs.50/- (SC, ST) and Rs100/- (General & OBC).-drawn in favour of M.D, TNFDC Ltd Chennai payable at Chennai

Selection Methods:
Applicants will be selected by written test or Interview or both. Skill test for drivers to be conducted.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the Written Test or Interview or both.
