The Department of Education in Social Sciences (DESS) is a constituent unit of the NCERT which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It is proposed to fill up the following posts under Adolescence Education Programme, funded by UNFPA on Contractual basis for a period upto 31 December, 2014.

1. Name of the post : Consultant (Administrative& Finances)

Qualification :
(a) Graduate in any discipline
(b) Minimum 8 years experience of working in the educational projects particularly international agencies funded educational projects
(c) Working knowledge of computer
Age : Retired person can also apply.
Consolidated and fixed monthly Salary : Rs, 20,000/-

2. Name of the post : J.P.F

Qualification :
(a) Second class (with at least 55% marks) Master Degree in any Social Science Subject / Education/Language
(b) Knowledge of research methodology;
(c) Proficiency in working on Computer;
Age : Not more than 30 years
Consolidated and fixed monthly Salary : Rs.16,000/- Net Qualified; Rs. 14,000/- Non-net

3. Name of the post : DTP Operator

Qualification :
(a) Graduate in any discipline
(b) Diploma in Computer Application.
(c) Proficiency in Database software’s, Coral Draw, Photoshop, In Design and MS-Office.
(d) Two years working experience as a DTP operator in a reputed organization.
Age : Not more than 30 years
Consolidated and fixed monthly Salary : Rs. 18,000/-
Date & Time of Test & Interview : on 14 February, 2014 at 11:00 AM

How to Apply :
i) The interested candidates who fulfill the required eligibility conditions may attend the test/interview on the date and time mentioned above along with their bio-data, original mark sheets/certificates/experience etc. One set of attested copies of certificates / testimonials and one passport size photograph may also be submitted. Candidates attending test/interviews will not be paid any TA/DA by the NCERT. Those who have already worked in the council for two years need not apply.

ii) The person selected should be prepared to join immediately.
