Bhilai Steel Plant is India’s sole producer of rails and heavy steel plates and major producer of structural. BSP invites online application from young, energetic and positive minded individuals for the post of Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee).

Pay Scale : ` 8630-3%-12080/- (S-1)
No. of post: 8 (Eight)
Age: Minimum 18 yrs. & Maximum 28 yrs. as on 01/02/2014.
Essential Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institution or university with minimum 50% marks. Should possess valid Driving License for Heavy Motor Vehicles.
Physical Standard: Candidates will be required to meet following physical standard for being considered for the post:

Height-165 cms
Weight-50 Kgs
Chest (Expanded)-86.5 cms
Chest (Un-expanded)-81 cms
Eye Sight-6/6 without glasses
Colour Vision-Normal (Colour blindness will be a disqualification)
Physic-No physical disability, no knee knock and no flat foot, no rod implantation inside the body.
Candidates must ensure that they possess the above mentioned Physical Standard. They will have to produce a medical certificate issued by Registered Medical Practitioner / Government Doctor certifying the above Physical Standard at the time of PAT/ interview. Also, if selected, they will have to undergo medical examination before joining.
Selection Procedure: For the post of Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee), eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical ability test (PAT)/ driving test and interview. Information for written test, physical ability test/ driving test and interview will be provided in our website

Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the following;
a) Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at least one year.
b) Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of 150/- for Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) post as application and processing fee for General candidates. SC/ST candidates to possess Pay in Slip of 50/- only as processing fee. The Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the required details.
c) Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signature in digital form (.jpg or .jpeg only of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application form.
