Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPP) is a Joint Venture Company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC (India) Limited, with an authorized share capital of Rs. 500 Crores, formed for the execution of Pakal Dul, Kiru, Kwar, and Dulhasti Phase-II Hydroelectric Projects in Chenab River basin, Distt. Kishtwar (J&K) with capacity of 2670 MW intends to appoint Accounts Officer and Sr. Accountant on Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of one year and extendable for a further period of 01 year as per the following details

1 Name of the post: Accounts Officer
Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant from Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India.

Remuneration: 18150/-
Site Allowance: Candidates posted at Project Sites shall be paid Site Allowance @ 10% of the monthly remuneration.
Transport Allowance: Rs. 3000/- per month if using own vehicle for official purposes.

2 Name of the post: Sr. Accountant
Qualification: Intermediate Chartered Accountant / Intermediate Cost Accountant from Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India.

Remuneration: 13500/-
Site Allowance: Candidates posted at Project Sites shall be paid Site Allowance @ 10% of the monthly remuneration.
Transport Allowance: Rs. 1400/- per month if using own vehicle for official purposes

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 30 years as on 01/01/2014

Selection Process: Selection process will comprise of test (wherever necessary) and personal interview. Applications received against each post shall be put in order of their Merit as per the scrutiny criteria and only the shortlisted candidates shall be called for Interview.

Placement & Transfer: Selected Candidates may be placed at any Project / Office / Unit of CVPP in India as per the requirements. The services are liable to be transferred from one place to another as per the Company requirements

Application Fee:
i) Applicants are required to pay non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250/-through Demand Draft only in favour of “Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd” Payable at Jammu. No other mode of payment would be accepted.
ii) The SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from Application Fee.
iii) Applicants are also requested to indicate their“Name” and “Post Applied for” on the back side of the Demand Draft.

How to Apply:
i) Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may apply in the prescribed Application Form.

ii) The envelope should be clearly superscribed with Advertisement Number and Post applied for, as the case may be.

iii) Filled-in Application Forms along with requisite documents as given under should reach at following address on or before 28/02/2014 through ORDINARY POST only;

** Matriculation /Secondary certificate towards proof of date of birth.
** Complete set of mark sheets/certificates in support of qualifications.
** Caste certificate for claiming Reservation/ Relaxation/concessions (if applicable).
** State of Domicile proof (For J&K residents only).
** Certificate issued by Appropriate Authority for those applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989.
** Demand draft (if applicable).
