Chandigarh Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Chandigarh Administration will hold a photography competition under theme of: – “CHANDIGARH – NATURE AND CITY LIFE” In the following two categories: – 1. Professional. 2. Amateur.
The conditions are as under:
1. The entry forms for the competition are available free of cost online on the website of Chandigarh Administration (http://chandigarh.gov.in/), Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh (mcchandigarh.gov.in ) as well as from the nearest Sampark Centres on payment of nominal charge of ` 10/- per page print out.
2. Entry in prescribed proforma with coloured photographs will only be accepted.
3. Maximum number of photographs in each eligible category is limited to FOUR.
4. The standard size for the photographs should be 12”x18” for Professional category and 8”x12” for Amateur Category.
5. The participants should not mention his name on photographs.
6. The entry form complete in all respects alongwith photographs and CD may be submitted in the office of
Executive Engineer,
MCPH Division No.2, 2nd Floor,
Near Karuna Sadan Sector 11,
Chandigarh
between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on all days from 01.02.2014.
7. Three prizes amounting to ` 11000/-, ` 7500/-, ` 5100/- and Three prizes amounting to ` 7500/-, ` 5100/-, ` 3500/- alongwith consolation prizes for Professional and Amateur category respectively will be awarded. The decision of the judges will be final and irrevocable. Prize winning entries will become the property of the Chandigarh Administration.
8. The last date for the receipt of entries is 12.02.2014 upto 4.00 pm.
9. All prizes winning entries alongwith some other selected entries will be displayed during the Rose Festival.
10. The participants are required to collect / take back their photographs (except prize winning entries) by 4th March, 2014. Thereafter Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for any damage / loss of photographs. Photographs not collected within the prescribed time limit will become the property of Chandigarh Administration/M.C. Chandigarh and shall be free to use the same for its promotional activities or as per its discretion.
