REST 2014 :
Resonance Engineering Scholarship Test-2014 is an aptitude cum benchmarking test to be conducted by Resonance Indore Study Centre to reach out, spot , reward & nurture talented students across Malwa – Nimad region and support them in fulfilling their career aspirations. With prizes worth Rs. 2 lacs & scholarship worth Rs. 51 lacs on offer, REST will provide a huge platform to the students of this region to show case their talent which will not only boost their confidence but also prepare them to perform well in competitive exams ahead.

Who can participate in REST-2014 :
REST-2014 will be conducted for the students of class IX, X and XI (Mathematics) of Private, Government, government aided schools of any medium in Indian territory.

REST-2014 Registration Fee :
Registration for REST 2014 is completely free, However to appear in the exam, a nominal fee of 100 will be charged.

Rewards & scholarships :
Prize & Scholarship Categories :Of a total prize of Rs. 2 lacs and Scholarship amount of Rs. 51 lacs. Three categories of prizes are defined based on respective class of the student as below- IX, X and XI

Conditions for prizes :
** Tie breaker – In case of more than one participating student securing equal aggregate marks, then the better rank shall be given by comparing scores individually in the subjects in decreasing order of priority as Physics – Chemistry – Mathematics.
** All the prizes are non-transferable in terms of person or prize title.
** The prizes shall be awarded to the students at the felicitation function organized at Indore. No award/prize etc. shall be handed over in person to any of the student’s relative /guardian or his/her representative.
** A qualifying student will have to produce required documents to claim his/her award.
** The scholarships shall be applicable to a student only after taking admission in respective program (as per availability at Indore Study Centre). A student cannot claim for the scholarship in any other from.
** The scholarship is valid for one year only i.e. for academic session 2014-15.
** The scholarship shall be applicable on total fee (excluding caution money) without combining any other offer.
** Students can avail only one best scholarship in case he/she is eligible for more than one scholarship under different criteria by Resonance.

IX & X – NCERT 100% syllabus of current year. (General Science & Mathematics)
XI – NCERT 100% syllabus of current year. (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics)

Duration – 180 minutes (3 hrs.)
No. of Questions – 75
Marks/Question – 4
Max. Marks – 300
Negative Marking – -1
Mode of Test – offline (Pen & Paper)
