Preface :
We know many ideas and thought are boiling in your minds. So here is the gateway for showing them to the world. We will be inviting essays from you on the various topics on concern ranging from regional issues to international affairs, from personal grievances to public outrage. We will select best essays and the winning essay will get a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and it will be published in the Chhatrartha Magazine for consecutive month. Also the selected essays will be sent as an official BCS entry for various competitions. Other appealing essays will be Published in Chhatrartha suitably. Theme – “The power of youth to create and Build the great future”
Young India today is very vibrant! Their participation is crucial and important for shaping the Nation’s future. Young students today are enthusiast, creative, tech savvy with abundant physical energy. BCS Manthan is a platform Created to showcase their thought process and expressions! BCS Manthan, is a call to Young students to share express their ideas and get connected to the process of nation building!
Essay Subjects : Students can select any of the following subjects
a. Reflections of a Young Mind : Aspirations of Young India
b. Dream Leader: What are the Characteristics required to lead Young India?
c. Bharat and India: Widened Gap and a Bridge to Connect, What can I do?
Format of the Essay :
Language – Hindi / English
Word Limit – upto 2000 words
Submission guidelines :
The essay should be very original work and not copied from any other source. References should be mentioned at the places where ever required. Copied work will not be considered for the competition.
** Submission in soft copy only- online submission as attachment
** Submission format – MS Word Doc File.
** One participant can submit essay on only one topic.
** Participants can have co-authors to essay up to two.

** Originality of work
** Though process and ideas
** Idea concept elaboration
** Examples used
** References of books, news paper or any other sort made.
** Adherence to submission guidelines

6. Name of the Course Participant is Pursuing ( e.g Degree / Diploma / PG / HSC )
7. Reference of a known person ( Just mention Name of Principal / Teacher / Any other Authority )
