Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), Mumbai, an Autonomous Scientific Institute of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, is a premier Research & Development Institution of the Government of India. Its main objective is to promote the growth of Science and Technology in the areas of RF/Microwave Electronics, Medical Electronics, Electromagnetics, Opto-Electronics, Millimeter-wave Technology and its allied areas. SAMEER has its headquarters at Mumbai and centers at Chennai and Kolkata.
SAMEER is looking for young and dynamic professionals for various sponsored projects for contract positions on consolidated salary. The tenure will be two years or end of the project whichever is earlier for its laboratory at Mumbai/Navi Mumbai.

Essential Qualification :
M. Sc. (Photonics) with Minimum 55% Marks From Reputed University. OR
M.Sc. (Physics) with Specialization Opto-electronics and Optical Communication/ Applied Optics / Opto-electronics and Laser Technology / Optics & Opto-electronics / Laser Technology and Applications with Minimum 55% Marks From Reputed University / Institute. Candidates in their final Year of M. Sc. Can also apply
Remuneration : 20500/- PM Consolidated
2 Essential Qualification : M. Tech / M. E. in Opto-electronics and Optical Communication/ Applied Optics / Opto-electronics and laser Technology / Optics & Opto-electronics / Laser Technology and Applications with Minimum 55% Marks From Reputed University / Institute

Remuneration : 21500/- to 25500/- for M. Tech Candidates

General Conditions:
(1) The above posts carry consolidated pay and appointment will be purely on contract basis.
(2) The contract appointment shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption in the post.
(3) The persons selected for contract appointment will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract.
(4) Candidates may have to appear for a written objective type of questions.
(5) NOC from employer if working in Government departments, public sectors, autonomous organizations and Government funded research agencies is must.
(6) No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing for the written test/interview.
