Selection Process : Selection Processes for Executive will be based on written Test (Computer Based Test) CBT, Group Discussion and Interview and for Non Executive written test (Computer Based Test) CBT and Interview.

Age Limit As On 01.01.2014 :
(i) For Executive Positions:- Minimum 21 yrs & Maximum 40 yrs.
(ii) For Non Executive Positions:- Minimum 18 yrs & Maximum 40 yrs..

Assistant Engineer(T) : 15600-39100 5400

QUALIFICATION:-
(1) For Assistant Engineer (Trainee) (E & M):- (Branch Code: 01 to 03)
(a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP, within 3 years of joining.
(b) A degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation /Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics/Industrial/Industrial and Production Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other institution recognized by State Government or a degree of recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government. Or
Degree in Examination Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation /Electronics/Industrial/Industrial and Production Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature or by UGC. Or
Section “A” and “B” of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA).

For Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil:- (Branch Code 04)
(a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP, within 3 years of joining.
(b) A degree in Civil Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other institution recognized by State Government or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government. Or
Degree Examination in Civil Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature or by UGC. Or
Section “A” and “B” of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA).
Note:
(i) Degree from distance learning education shall not be eligible.
(ii) Degree must be completed at the time of submission of application.

(2) For Junior Engineer (Trainee) (E &M): (Branch Code 05 to 07)
(a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP, within 3 years of joining.
(b) 03 years diploma examination Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering from a institution recognized by Stat Government. Or
City and Guides London institute, Final Grade examination in Electrical Engineering Practice Post I and II held after June 3, 1950. Or
03 years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering conducted by any of the “All India Council for Technical Education”, Government of India, Delhi Polytechnic. Or
03 years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature. Or
National Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering a awarded by the “All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India.” Or
Final Examination held by the State Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh for 02 years, Diploma Courses in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Tools Technology), Electrical Engineering (Electrical Technology) and Electronics/ Control and Instrumentation/Instrumentation Engineering in respect of students trained at the under mentioned institutions.
(i) Government Polytechnic, Lucknow.
(ii) National Polytechnic, Nainital.

For Junior Engineer (Trainee) Civil:- (Branch Code 08)
(a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP, within 3 years of joining.
(b) 03 years diploma examination in Civil Engineering from a institute recognized by Stat Government. Or
03 years All India Diploma Examination in Civil Engineering conducted by the “All India Council for Technical Education”, Government of India, Delhi Polytechnic. Or
03 years All India Diploma Examination in Civil Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature. Or
National Certificates Civil Engineering awarded by the “All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India.”
Note:
(i) Diploma from distance learning education shall not be eligible.
(ii) Diploma must be completed at the time of submission of application.

Application Fee :
(A) Executive Positions [For the post of Assistant Engineer(Trainee)]:-
(i) Rs. 1000/- (For General & OBC candidates)
(ii) Rs. 700/- ( For SC/ ST Candidates)
(B) Non-Executive Positions [For the post of Junior Engineer (Trainee):-
(i) Rs. 700/- (For General & OBC candidates)
(ii) Rs. 500/- ( For SC/ ST Candidates)
(C) No fee for physically handicapped candidates.

ii) After submission of online application form in all respect- Hard copy of Application Form, All relevant applicable document’s self attested copies i.e. (Caste certificate, domicile certificates, date of birth certificate, Technical essential qualification certificate/final marks sheet, apprentice certificate, certificate of Ex-Servicemen in Armed forces of India, Dependant of Freedom Fighter certificate, Physically Handicapped certificate) shall be sent by ordinary post at

iii) All concerned relevant original documents viz Caste certificate, domicile certificates, date of birth certificate, Technical essential qualification certificate/final marks sheet, apprentice certificate, certificate of Ex-Servicemen in Armed forces of India, Dependant of Freedom Fighter certificate, Physically Handicapped certificate shall have to be submitted for verification along with a self attested copy of each document at the time of Interview. Failing to produce these qualifying documents at the time of Interview in original will result in automatic rejection of the candidature.
