NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY POSTER COMPETITION, 2014
On the theme : FOSTERING SCIENTIFIC TEMPER
Entries are invited for the National Science Day Poster competition, 2014 organized by Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP/SSS), JNU in Collaboration with NCSTC Division, Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India on the theme FOSTERING SCIENTIFIC TEMPER.
Poster Guidelines :
Students from Jawaharlal Nehru University can submit posters individually or in groups
Submission in group should be in the name of group representative.
Designs must be 11” wide by 17” tall on poster board paper
Designs should be submitted in hard copy
Content should be appropriate for the campus community
Art Guidelines :
Must be original design, use of any image must be original and/or owned by you. Your inability to prove originality/ownership of material will result in disqualification.
DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES IS 20th February, 2014
Submitting your design- Entries should be submitted in hard copy along with contact details to the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Room No. 223, School of Social Sciences Building-I, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067, between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on working days till 20th February, 2014.
Selected posters will be displayed on the eve of National Science day Lecture on 26th February 2014.
The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs.3000/-. The Second and Third winner will receive a cash prize of Rs.2000/- and Rs.1000/- respectively. There will be two consolation prizes worth Rs.500/- each.
