“Unity in Diversity” in context of Arunachal Pradesh

Duration of competition section :-
5 minutes including title.

Format of the film to be submitted :-
On DVD in the AVI/MPEG4 format only

Prize Money :
First prize Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh)
Second prize Rs 75,000/- (Rupees seventy five thousand)
Third prize Rs 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand)

Selection Committee & Jury :
There will be two separate committee. One committee will select films both documentary & feature for screening while other will adjudge and recommend the entries of short films under competition category for 1st,2nd & 3rd Prize.

Condition applicable to all categories of entries :-
i. Documentary and Feature film produced between the period January 2012 till January 2014 are entitled for entry.
ii. Films which were submitted during last film festivals will not qualify for AFF 2014.
iii. Only one film from each production banner will be allowed for entry in AFF2014.
iv. Duration of Documentary film segment is up to 30 minutes and duration of feature film should be maximum of 2 hrs 30 mts can register for entry in the Arunachal Film festival 2014.
v. Language-English/Hindi/local language. Films in any Arunachal language must be dubbed in either English or Hindi OR carry English sub-titles.
vi. Film must be submitted in DVD in the AVI/MPEG4 FORMAT ONLY (Festival Management will not be responsible if film is not screened due to problem with the DVD).
vii. Along with the film, 5(five) high resolution still photographs in of the film and 40 word synopsis should be submitted in a separate CD along with the original DVD to the nodal Officer of IPR deptt.
viii. DVD should be labeled with the title, running-time and contact email and phone number.
ix. Fresh copy of DVD is required of selected film for final screening at the festival.
x. All the entries must accompany filled and duly signed entry form.
xi. Competition is open to all excepting the employees of Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Naharlagun. xii. The festival authorities will have the right to retain DVD copies of each film as part of our festival library & which can be screened in different cities for media educational & non-commercial purpose. However prior permission will be sought from the producer of the film.
xiii. Decision of the judges will be final. No dispute against the decision of jury will be entertained.

Film must be submitted on DVD in the AVI/MPEG4 format only to Festival Committee.
