Applications on prescribed format which can be obtained from the Office of Senior Administrative Officer (Policy) or can be downloaded from SKIMS website are invited from eligible male candidates who are permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State for appointment to the post of Driver on Regular/ Temporary basis. The number of Posts, Pay Scale and Qualification is mentioned here under to this notification for the selection against these posts
Name of the post : Driver G-II
Total Post : 13
Pay scale : 5200-20200 with grade pay 1900/-
Qualification/experience:
1.Matric.
2.Should possess Heavy Passenger Vehicle License endorsed byState Registration Authority.
Criteria for selection:-
i). Driving Test = 50 Points
ii). Matric = 10 Points
iii). 10+2 = 05 Points
iv). Experience = 15 Points (One point for each year maximum 15 points) *
v). Viva-voce = 20 Points
Total = 100 Points Note: Item (ii & iii) on pro-rata basis.
*Experience shall be reckoned from the date of endorsement of Heavy Passenger License.
Age as on 1-1-2014 :
1.Minimum 18 years.
2.37 years for general category candidates.
3.40 years in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates/RBA/ALC.
4.40 years in case of candidates already in Government service/contractual employees.
Fee : Bank Draft for Rupees 200/- from any branch of J&K Bank pledged to FA & CAO, SKIMS

ii) Applications complete in all respects, affixed with recent passport size photograph of the candidate (attested by Gazetted Officer) accompanied with attested copy of the following certificates/License (original to be produced at the time of interview) and the self-addressed envelope alongwith the Bank Draft for Rupees 200/- from any branch of J&K Bank pledged to FA & CAO, SKIMS should reach the office of
