Photo Competition 2014 :
Guide Lines and Rules Of The Photo Contest :
1. No Entry Fee.
2. Competition is open to all excepting the employees of Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Government of Arunachal Pradesh,Naharlagun.

3. Theme of the competition :
a. Landscape of Arunachal Pradesh
b. Culture/ Traditional Dance & Festivals of Arunachal Pradesh
c. Development activities in Arunachal Pradesh

4 Prize Money :
I. 1 st prize Rs 50,000/- X 3 categories = Rs. 1,50,000/-
II. 2nd prize Rs 30,000/- X 3 categories = Rs. 90,000/-
III. 3rd prize Rs 20,000/- X 3 categories = Rs. 60,000/-
IV. 3 consolation prizes AT Rs 10,000/- each = Rs 30,000/-

5 All the entries should be in Digital format. Preferably in .Tiff or in JPEG format.
4. Entrants are required to send a CD along with photograph at high resolution.
5. Resolution of the original photographs should be minimum of 300 pixel/inch.
6. Photographs to be submitted both in hard copy (A4) and soft copies (CD). Size
of the hard copy should be of A4 size.
7. All the photographs should contain detailed caption with date, place and Each Entry should carry author’s name, nationality, postal address, telephone nos., email address on the back of the print copy in BLOCK LETTERS.
8. Entry form may be downloaded from www.arunachalipr.gov.in need to be enclosed along with the entry with signature.
9. Technical details of time and location where picture taken along with Camera used, exposure, film, lens focal length etc. should be sent along with the entry.
10. A certificate that all photographs are work of original nature and taken by the entrant himself/herself on the date & time mentioned is to be enclosed by the entrant.
11. One contestant can send one entry in each category.
12. No digital manipulation/tampering of original images will be accepted excepting the enhancement of print quality if it is printed in digital lab. Edited photographs will be rejected by the duly constituted panel of Judge.

13. The entries should be superscripted with the word :
“Entries for the IPR Photo Contest-2014”( Theme:…………..) to be addressed

15 Last date of receipt of entries is Feb 10, 2014.
16 Entries received after the closing date will not be entertained.
17 Deptt. of IPR will not be responsible for any damage and loss in transit.
18 After the competition is over, the photographs will be property of the directorate
of IPR and it will have the right to publish them.
19 Decision of the judges will be final. Directorate of IPR, Government of Arunachal Pradesh reserves the right to use the picture selected for exhibition.
20 The prize will be distributed only on receipt of the original award wining original digital images.
