This site provides the latest status of a case either pending or disposed by the Supreme Court or any other High Court in the country. Supreme Court of India :
The Supreme Court of India comprises the Chief Justice and 30 other Judges appointed by the President of India. Supreme Court Judges retire upon attaining the age of 65 years. In order to be appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court, a person must be a citizen of India and must have been, for atleast five years, a Judge of a High Court or of two or more such Courts in succession, or an Advocate of a High Court or of two or more such Courts in succession for at least 10 years or he must be, in the opinion of the President, a distinguished jurist. Provisions exist for the appointment of a Judge of a High Court as an Ad-hoc Judge of the Supreme Court and for retired Judges of the Supreme Court or High Courts to sit and act as Judges of that Court.

I am one of the petitioners along with Karnataka General Insurance SVRS Optees/Retirees/Association, Bangalore. I understand that the Write Petition(Civil) filed by us before Karnataka High Court under case No.WP/7299/2006 has been transferred to Supreme Court on 17.09.2013 to be heard along with the similar cases pending before SC under Case No.SLP(C)10903/2011,TC(C)20/2011,T.C.(C) Nos.19/2011,21/2011,23/2011,45/2011,46/2010,47/2010,49/2010,6/2011,7/2011,82/2011 83/2011, etc.
Please let me know whether our case No.WP/7299/2006 which has been transferred from Karnataka High Court has been clubbed with the above cases, if so, what is the case no.given by Supreme Court for this transferred case. Please also inform the present status of our transferred case.
