ADMISSION – MD / MS / PG Diploma Courses :
Management of AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM reserves the right to change any of the conditions enumerated herein for the purpose of complying with any of the regulations of the University Grants Commission or any other competent authorities.
1 Course : MD / MS
Duration of the Course:
(a) Three years from the date of commencement of classes.
(b) Two years in case of those who have recognized Post Graduate Diploma in the same subject.
2 Course : PG Diploma
Duration of the Course: (a) Two years
Curriculam : As per MCI and the University – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
Eligibility :
i) MD / MS Clinical subjects – candidates should not exceed 30 years of age as on 31st December 2014.
ii) Age relaxation will be considered for candidates with higher qualification in the concerned subject.
iii) No age limit for MD – Non Clinical & all PG Diploma courses.
iv) MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College.
v) Those who are likely to complete the internship on or before 30th April 2014 can also apply. Candidates who hold MBBS Degrees from Foreign Universities should have passed the Screening Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations
Selection : Based on a National level Amrita Entrance Examination and subsequent counseling conducted by Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham.
