Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of 385 Contract Investigators and 120 Supervisors on Contract basis under 4th Round of Employment-Unemployment Survey in Labour Bureau offices

Eligibility :
Indian Citizens above the age of 21 years as on 01-07-2013. Reservation in respect of SC/ST/OBC will be applicable as per the Government rules in vogue. Candidates holding Bachelors degree with Statistics/Economics/Mathematics as one of the subjects or Graduate in Commerce or MBA in any discipline and having fluency in the local language are eligible. Retired Persons from State Government/Govt. of India from similar posts in Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- and above having at least 03 years experience in the field of data collection work and who are below 65 years of age and fit to travel can also apply for these posts. Experience in the conduct of survey and data collection work alongwith knowledge of Computer application is desirable.

Job Requirement :
Contract Investigators will be expected to carry out data collection work relating to the Employment-Unemployment Survey in both Rural and Urban areas in different districts of the (As per Annexure) State/U.T. which includes visit to the households.

Supervisors (on Contract) will be put on the job for data checking, co-ordination with 21 States/U.Ts in all districts and overall supervision of the field work relating to the large scale Employment-Unemployment sample surveys to be conducted in the rural/urban area in different districts of the States/U.Ts besides attending to the scrutiny of the filled in schedules of data collection received from the Contract Investigators at the Headquarters Office as well as the Regional Offices of Labour Bureau.
