The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) is an autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers by an Act of Parliament, to impart higher education and undertake advanced research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Technology and Management. The Institute intends to fill the following posts

1. Name of the post : CHIEF MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Pay structure: Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100/-) plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- and other allowances at par with Central Government pay and allowances.

Eligibility conditions (Direct Recruitment):
Educational Qualification & Experience: B.E. (Civil) with nine years experience including 3 – 5 years in GP-5400/- in relevant field as Engineer / Asst. Engineer from CPWD / State PWD or similar organized services / semi-Govt. / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous organization / Universities / reputed Institute or Organizations under Central / State Govt.
Desirable: Working knowledge of allied engineering services. Experience in handling large construction projects; knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology / other relevant software application.
Maximum age limit: 45 years

2.Name of the post : RESIDENT DOCTOR (MALE)
Pay structure: Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600 – 39100/-) plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and other allowances including Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) at par with Central Government pay and allowances.

Educational Qualification: M.B.B.S. Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. Preference will be given to candidates holding diploma / MD / MS preferably in General Medicine.
Experience: At least three years of experience in recognized large hospital of State / Central / PSU / Autonomous bodies / multi-specialty hospitals of good repute.
Maximum age limit: 35 years

4.Name of the post : SECURITY – CUM – ESTATE OFFICER

Eligibility conditions (Direct Recruitment):
(i) Retired personnel from Military Services with minimum 5 years’ of commissioned service in Army/Navy/Air Force/ Para-Military Force or police only, not below the rank of Captain or equivalent/Dy. SP of Police.
(ii) Bachelor degree from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Desired skills :
1. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of firefighting, management of subordinates, familiarity with computers with good interpersonal skills.
2. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of security gadgets/equipments.
3. Hands-on experience in facilities management of institutional and residential complexes and should be able to foresee and administer these activities and responsibilities effectively.
4. Capability to liaise with different government/non-government organization/administration and skill to tackle labour related problems.

Educational Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. with three years’ research / teaching experience. OR M.Pharm. with two years’ research / teaching experience
