ADMISSION NOTICE
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION.
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN : The main aim of this course is to develop pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. The course shall enhance the knowledge and skills of the engineers sponsored by various Power Utilities and fresh graduate engineers.
ABOUT THE COURSES: This is a modular course of 26 Weeks duration. Formal coaching will be held at Regional Institute of NPTI located at Badarpur (New Delhi). During the course regular visits will be organized to nearby sub-stations of Power Grid, NRLDC, NLDC and various other utilities. Simulator training will be held at Bangalore. The course covers the syllabus as per Indian Electricity Rules.
ELIGIBILITY: B.E. or equivalent in Electrical/Power /Electrical Electronics Engineering (Regular Basis).
SELECTION CRITERION FOR ADMISSION: Merit-% in qualifying examination.
AGE LIMIT: No age limit
TOTAL SEATS: 60
Reservation for OBC/SC/ST/ physically challenged as per Govt. of India Norms. 25% seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from Power utilities. If sufficient sponsored candidates are not available, the seats will be filled by non-sponsored candidates.
PLACEMENT: Many reputed companies visit NPTl for campus placement and placement fee is charged additionally. However 100% placement is not guaranteed.
FEE : Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- in favour of NPTl, Badarpur payable at New Delhi

Mechanical branch is not relevant for PG Diploma course according to the selection list.
I have got 45 number in merit list.
What is the procedure for placement?
