Swami Sivananda Scholarship – 2014 :
Applications are invited from the B.Tech 1st year students for award of Swami Sivananda Memorial Scholarship for the year 2013-14. ‘
Salient features of Swami Sivananda Memorial Scholarship:
a) The minimum academic eligibility for awarding scholarship in the Autumn Semester CGPA 8.00.
b) The maximum annual parental income should be less than Rs.4.5 Iakhs.
c) The Scholarship will be awarded to one student from 1st year of B.Tech. programme Rs.2000/- per month.
d) The whole amount of scholarship for one year will be given in the month Of January every year.
e) A student receiving scholarship in the first year may be eligible for 2nd year if his CGPA is 8.00 at the end of fisrt year including Summer / Supplementary exams and so on. in case a student fails to secure CGPA 8.00, another student may be nominated by the Committee from his batch.
Meritorious and needy students are advised to apply in the enclosed format to the undersigned latest by 30.01.2014 enclosing the following documents :
a) Grade Sheet of 1st Semester
b) Parental Income certificate (both father & mother)
C) Documents towards significant achievement in life, if any
