Qualification & Experience : Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification for male nurse. Preference to those having 3 years experience in a large hospital or Medical College or B.Sc. Nursing should be registered ‘A’ Grade Nurse & Midwife with a State Nursing Council or equivalent Qualification for male nurse.
Age : The upper age limit & experience will be reckoned as on 01-01-2014. The upper age limit is as follows;
Forty (40) years for General candidate and
Forty five (45) years for SC/ST/OBC. (Only for those having DOMICILE in the state of Uttar Pradesh ) candidate.
Application Fee: Application fee will be Rs. 500/- for General & OBC and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST.
Bank Draft only and should be in favor of “Director SGPGIMS Lucknow”, payable at Lucknow
How to Get your Admit Card for Written/Screening Test & Interview/Skill Test:
i) Eligible candidates can print their admit card on-line using their registration No. at the time of filling the applications form.
ii) A copy of eligibility status will be available on the website. Please Check the website on regular basis.
How to Apply :

General Instruction:
1. Envelope should be super scribed with the advertisement no. and name of the post.
2. Director reserves the right to cancel the advertisement in part or full and the selection process at any stage without assigning any reason and in that case application fee shall not be refunded.
3. Number of posts may be increased/decreased depending upon the need of the Institute.
4. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending written exam/screening test/ interview.
5. Applicant working in Govt./Semi Govt./Undertaking/Autonomous institute should apply through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of Interview/Test incomplete applications (i.e. without testimonials, document, bank draft, unsigned applications) and applications received in this Institute after the expiry of the last date will be summarily rejected.
6. Candidates with higher qualifications shall be preferred.
7. Self certified copy of testimonials/documents in support of age (date of birth) educational qualification, experience and caste must be enclosed with the application. Candidates are advised to write Registration No (written on right corner of application form) on each enclosure.
8. Merely fulfilling minimum requirement does not essentially qualify candidate to be called for test/interview.
9. Bank draft should be in favour of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow (UP) payable at the State Bank of India, SGPGIMS, Lucknow. Branch, Lucknow code no. 7789 must be enclosed along with the application which is non refundable.
10. Original documents would need to be verified at the time of interview/screening test/joining.
11. Question papers shall consist of multiple choice objective questions without negative marking.
12. Syllabus of written would be as per the eligibility criteria.
