Admissions 2014 – 2016 :
What BIM Offers?
Two-year full time residential MBA Programme with specializations offered in Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations and Human Resource Management.

Who is eligible?
Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
Final Year Degree students may also apply, subject to completion of the degree requirements with minimum 50% marks by July 2014.
CAT 2013 Scores are used for shortlisting candidates who apply for admission to BIM.
All applicants to BIM should take CAT Online Test (conducted by IIMs from 16th Oct to 11th Nov 2013)

(IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of program)

How to apply?
Prospectus and Applications can be obtained online:
Prospects and application form can be obtained only through Online Registration. Payment can be made through Credit card/Demad Draft/Net Banking.

(Note: Application money paid will neither be refunded nor transferred to another candidate under any circumstances. SC/ST candidates must send their scanned community certificate copy along with the requisition.)

Instructions to Candidate for Online Registration :
Step 1 :
Candidates should apply only through online.
The last date for online registration is 31st January 2014
Register Online as New User with your valid Email Id and Password. The email ID should be kept active till July 15, 2014.

Step 2 :
Login with your Email Id and Password.
An Email will be sent to you for your reference.

Step 3 :
Then Click “Apply Online” and Fill in the Online Application Form

Step 3a :
Enter your application details in the ‘Apply online’ link provided.
After you have filled in the details in application, you will receive an email with Application No. and the details.

Step 3b :
Note: The candidates who wish to apply for BIM admissions should have taken CAT 2013. CAT Test Registration Number must be provided.
Once you receive your CAT score, you should update the score by using the link

Step 4 :
Payment can be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Demand Draft / Net Banking.
If Demand Draft, Rs.1400 /- (Rs.920/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of ‘Bharathidasan Institute of Management’ Payable at Tiruchirappalli.
For online payment through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking Rs.1450 /- (Rs.950/- for SC/ST candidates).
Those who choose the option to pay by Demand Draft, they have to enter the Demand Draft details while filling up the online application form.

Step 5 :
After completing the online registration, print the Application Form (2 Pages in Total).
Affix your Passport size recent photograph in the Filled and Printed Application Form.

Step 6 :
Send the following by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier Service to avoid loss in transit :
– Filled Application Form duly signed
– Enclose a Photocopy of Community Certificate (applicable for BC, MBC, SC and ST candidates only).
Candidates need not to send any other supporting documents and the certificates will be verified only when the candidates will be attending the Group Discussion and Personal Interviews.
Make sure that the Application form duly signed by you along with the photocopy of Community Certificate (for BC, MBC, SC and ST) should reach us on or before 3rd February, 2014.

Step 7 :
After Validation of Payment and receipt of Application Form at BIM Admissions office, you will be acknowledged through an email.

Important Dates:
Commencement of Online Registration 9th December 2013
Last date for issue and submission of BIM application forms is 31st January 2014
