UPSDM has been set up as a Society, with an independent Governing Council, headed by the Hon. Chief Minister as its Chairperson, and will have a professionally run State & District Programme Management Units. UPSDM lays emphasis on promotion of professionally competent and dedicated implementation structures at the State and District level for managing and supporting all Mission activities. The Mission seeks applications from dedicated professionals across multiple domains. The openings are at the following positions ;

A. At the State Programme Management Unit (SPMU) :
Name of the post : Manager – Training Partners’ Collaboration

Job Profile : You would be responsible for engaging with the industry, government institutions, professional bodies, training providers etc. for providing trainings. You would prepare the overall training plan for UPSDM and be responsible for operationalizing the same. You would also prepare the collaboration road map and ensure implementation of the same.
Eligibility Criteria : Any Graduate or Post Graduate with MBA or PGDM with at least 10 years of work experience in the skill development and placement sector, of which at least two years should be working in a managerial position at the state level.
Monthly Emoluments : Rs 50,000

B. At the District Programme Management Unit :
Name of the post : Counselor cum MIS Manager

Job Profile : You would lead the interface with the trainees, industrial entities and other stake holders at the district level. You would Operate and manage the online UPSDM portal at the District Level and be responsible for regular updation of data on various programme components. You would be responsible of implementing the social mobilization campaign at the District Level.
Eligibility Criteria : Graduate/ Post Graduate (MBA, PG – RD or MSW) will be given preference, with Knowledge of Computer DOEACC- O level or equivalent with at least five years of work experience in any large scale rural development programme involving community mobilization or counseling of which at least two years should be working at a managerial position at the district level or above.
Monthly Emoluments :Rs 30,000

Selection Process :
i) Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria prescribed against the position, would be provisionally shortlisted to attend the selection process.
ii) The selection process would consist of scores awarded on marks obtained in various academic qualifications (10th up to the qualifying degree), and a multiple choice objective written test, which will consist of two sections. Section A would consist of questions on Analytical ability, quantitative ability, data analysis and comprehension. Section B would consist of questions on the domain knowledge, government programmes and computers. Based on the scores awarded on education qualifications and the written test scores, Candidates would be called to attend the final interview in the ratio of 1:5.
iii) For the post of Counselor cum MIS Manager who are to be placed in the districts, vacancies remain in 13 clusters. Each cluster has one or more districts within them. While applying, candidates should choose which cluster they would prefer to be posted. Cluster wise merit list would be prepared and candidates would be placed in any one of the districts within the cluster as per the merit list
