Overview :
The Post Graduate Diploma in Investment Banking will impart enduring knowledge and skills used every day in the investment profession. It also provides tools, ideas, and concepts to understand the dynamic and complex nature of the global investment. At the end the course students will have acquired a comprehensive framework of knowledge for investment decision making.

Course Duration : One year PGDIB is divided into two semesters with 4-5 hours of daily classes from Wednesday to Sunday.
The course has an inbuilt arrangement to facilitate the students to take CFA level 1 and Level 2 examinations for which the institute will provide the Preparatory leaves.
Eligibility and Admission Process :
Eligibility : Applicants with minimum of 50 % marks in graduation will be eligible to apply for this course.
Skill Sets : Candidates with high analytical, mathematical, number crunching & problem solving skills.
Procedure for Admission :
Student seeking admission are required to purchase the prospectus and then register with the Admission cell for the Entrance test, followed by a group Discussion & personal Interview.
A Graduate from any Discipline. Final year students may also apply. CATMATXAT scores are also accepted.

Admission Test :
** Candidates are required to appear for Entrance examination- conducted by the institute.
** Sample Questions of the proposed Test are provided on this website.
** All candidates who have appeared for CAT/ MAT/XAT/SNAP can also apply to IIFP with their score. Short listed candidates will have to appear only for GD & PI. The overall objective is to identify and assess the candidate’s communication ability, level of intelligence and adaptability.
Admission Offer :
Final selection will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicant’s academic record, work experience (if any), extracurricular activities, group discussion, scores in written test and outcome of the personal interview. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection by courier/email/ phone call. The selected candidates must pay their first fee installment within 10 days of receiving the admission offer, failing which the offer will be withdrawn.
