MET-Management Entrance Test-2014 :
UIAMS has been started at P.U. Campus to offer management Programmes in Sectoral areas and streams so as to fulfill industry needs and requirements for specialized managerial skills. The University will hold entrance teston March 15, 2014 for admission to following courses for the academic session 2014-15.
1. MBA (Retail Management)
2. MBA (Banking & Insurance Mgt)
3. MBA (IT & Telecommunication Mgt)
4. MBA (Infrastructural Management)
5. MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)
6. MBA (Hospital Management)

Eligibility Conditions :
A. MBA (Retail Management) and MBA (Banking & Insurance Mgt):
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.

B. MBA (IT & Telecommunication Mgt.) and MBA (Infrastructural Management) :
B.E./B.Tech.(in any Branch) with 50% marks
Or
Bachelor’s degree in any Science subject, with Physics and/or Mathematics with 50% marks.
Or
Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA) with 50% marks.

C. MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) :
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy Or M.B.B.S.
Or.
Bachelor’s Degree in any Science Subject with 50% marks and Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.

D. MBA(Hospital Management) :
MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/B.Pharmacy/BPT / B.Sc (Nursing) with 50% marks.

The hardcopy along with the necessary documents should reach the Assistant Registrar, UIAMS, South Campus, (Behind Alumni House), Panjab University, Sector-25, Chandigarh by March 10, 2014.

Requisite fee for MET is Rs. 1750/- (Rs. 875/- of SC/ST candidate)

STEPS TO FOLLOW :
Register Online.
Note down your Login Id and Password.
Download SBI Slip and pay fee in any SBI branch.
Login and upload scanned copy of bankslip, photograph, signature, fill other important information. Complete each section ( Profile, Categories, Academic Qualification) carefully and lock each section. (Once you lock the section, you will not be allowed to change information in that section.)
Take print out of the application form and submit/send it along with the required documents (if any) to the address mentioned on the print out of the application form.
Download your Admit Card after March 04, 2014.

Last Date of deposit of online form: Feb. 17, 2014 (Monday)

4. Last date for submission of fee details (journal no.; branch code and date of deposit given by Bank) and uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website February 25, 2014
5. No correction will be entertained/ made regarding photograph, signature and any other information after February 27, 2014 upto 5 :00 p.m.
6. Last date for receiving of copy of filled Application Form printout along with the requisite documents (if any) at UIAMS by registered post/speed post or by hand March 10, 2014 upto 4 :00 p.m.
7. Final date by which Roll No. will be available online Roll No. and Centre of Examination will be generated and Roll No. slip required to be downloaded from the website by the candidate using their own Login and Password (provided while generating Bank Challan). There will be no physical communication for this purpose. March 04, 2014
