Mathematical Meet – 2014 :
The Mathematics division of VIT University is pleased to announce the VIT Mathematical Meet -2014, the18 th Annual Celebration of Mathematics Association. The meet will be held at Technology Tower, VIT University, Vellore on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Objectives :
** To stimulate the interest in mathematics
** To recognize the outstanding mathematical talents
** To motivate the Mathematical creativity
** To inspire the ability to think and solve complex problems
** To exhibit the mathematical innovations
** To create awareness on mathematical applications

Registration Fee:
Registration Amount (English Medium) Rs.100/- per student Rs.150/- per student Rs.150/- per student
Registration Amount (Tamil Medium) Rs.50/- per student Rs.100/- per student Rs.100/- per student

Instructions :
** Events will be conducted for Tamil and English medium students separately (Except Mathematical Models & Mathematical Quiz) and awards will be given accordingly
** The Registered teams/students should report at 8.30 a.m. on 25.01.2014 at the venue
** For Quiz, a school shall sponsor one team (4 students) only at each level
** For individual events, no limit for number of participants
** One student can participate in ONLY ONE EVENT
** Written Test for Essay Competition will be conducted on 25.01.2014 at the Venue (manuscript will not be accepted)
** TA/DA will not be paid
** Lunch, Tea and snacks will be provided for all participants
** Registration fees shall be paid either in cash at VIT cash counter/by DD drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore
** Please avoid Spot Registrations. Spot Registration fee is 50% extra with regular fee
** The Registered fee will not be refunded due to any reason
** A common DD shall be drawn on behalf of all the participants
** Send the duly filled pro forma on or before 20-01-2014 in person/by post

How to Register :
** Registered participants are only permitted to participate in the contest.
** The registration form can be downloaded from vit.ac.in/vitmathmeet2014. Xerox copies of the enclosed registration form can be completed and send to the Organizing Secretary on or before 20th January 2014.
** Spot Registration fee is 50% extra with regular fee
** Online registration can be done at : vitmathmeet2014.questionpro.com
** Each participant has to pay the registration fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of InoVIT 2014, VIT University payable at Vellore. Students from the same school can send the registration fee in a single Demand Draft.
