Admission Regulations : These rules may be called the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Regulations of Admissions, applicable to PG (MD) Courses for the year 2014
Eligibility For Admission:
1. Admission to each of the courses shall be regulated as per A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 issued in G.O.P.No.646, dt: 10.07.1979 of education (w) department of government of Andhra Pradesh and as amended from time to time. (Copy of the G.O. is placed in the institute’s web-site)
2. The candidates who have passed MBBS course from a medical college recognized by MCI an completed internship at the time of their applying are eligible. The candidates who will be completing internship on or before 31/03/2014 are also eligible to apply. Such candidates have to download the declaration (Declaration-I), filled, signed by him/her and also to be certified by the principal / dean from the college where he/she is doing internship. The declaration is to be uploaded.
Fee: Rs.2000/- plus Taxes through online mode from any bank or Debit / Credit Card.
Admit Card (E-Hall Ticket):
i) Admit Card for the Computer based Entrance test shall be available for download to the eligible candidates, whose applications are complete and accurate in all aspects from 31-01-2014 onwards. The Admit card will contain Application Number, Name, Photo, Signature and Venue of the Entrance test. For any queries, the candidate should contact through Emailsvimspget@gmail.com.
ii) No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Test unless he / she holds the Admit card duly attested by a Gazetted officer with seal. The candidate should also bring one of the original photo ID (PAN card/Driving Licence/Aadhar card/Passport/Voter id/any govt. issued ID Proof) to the test center.
Date Of Joining : The selected candidates must join the course, on 02-05-2014 or before 10-05-2014, failing which the selection shall automatically stand cancelled.
How to Apply :
i) Candidate seeking admission to Entrance Examination is required to Apply through On-line
ii) Take a print out of the “application abstract” for future reference.
Important Dates :
1. Commencement of Online Registration : 01/01/2014
2. Last date for Online Registration of Applications : 20/01/2014
3. Download of Admit Card (e-Hall Ticket) : (Available through online only and not by post) 31/01/2014 onwards
4. Computer based Entrance Test : 09/02/2014 (2.30 to 04.00 pm)
5. Release of question paper and key : 10/02/2014 (after 5.00 pm)
6. Receiving objections (if any) through e-mail : 12/02/2014 (up to 5.00 pm)
7. Release of final key and Merit List : 21/02/2014 (After 5.00 pm)
8. Date of counseling, payment of fee, submission of original certificates and bond : 09/04/2014
9. Second & Final Counseling Will be notified in the website Commencement of the course : 02/05/2014
10. Closure of admission : 31/05/2014
