“Letter – cum – Admit Card” for Written Test for the above posts scheduled to be held on 05.01.2014 (Sunday) at 10.30 AM at DAV Public School, Gandhi Nagar Colony, Kanke Road, Ranchi have already been despatched by Registered Post to the candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and have also submitted complete application.

The candidates have to appear alongwith “Letter – cum – Admit Card for Written Test” complying the instruction indicated in it. Content of “Letter – cum – Admit Card for Written Test” as well as list of candidates called for Written Test.

Note :
Candidates whose name appears in the list of eligible candidates for Written Test and unfortunately if they do not receive letter for Written Tes t by 2.1.14 they may report at P&A Deptt., CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi on 3rd or 4 th Jan.14 between 11.00 AM to 12.00 Noon for issue of dupli cate Admit Card to attend Written Test on 5.1.14.

Mode of Written Test :
1. Your Roll Number for Test / Interview is as indicated above.
2. The Written Test will be of 100 marks. There will be 50 objective type questions consisting of two marks each relating to the requisite qualification for the post i.e.
For the post of Surveyor (Civil) upto the standard of Certificate Course in Civil Surveying.
For the post of Overseer (Civil) upto the standard of Diploma in Civil Engineering Course
The candidate has to darken properly only one correct option out of given four options on the OMR / Answer sheet using BLACK BALL POINT PEN only. The duration of Written Test will be of 1.30 hrs. (90 minutes).
3. Qualifying Marks for Written Test will be 60 for General Candidates & 54 for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The successful candidates of Written Test for the post of Surveyor (Civil) will only be called at the ratio of 1: 3 to appear for Interview on 06.01.14 (Monday). The successful candidates of Written Test for the post of Overseer (Civil) will also be called at the ratio of 1 : 3 to appear for Interview on 07.01.14 (Tuesday).
4. Personal Interview will be of 50 marks and will be conducted at HRD, CMPDI (HQ), Kanke Rd., Ranchi.
5. In Aggregate of 150 marks (Written + Interview) also, the Qualifying Marks will be 60 % for General & 54% for SC/ST/OBC i.e 90 marks for General & 81 marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
6. The successful outstation SC / ST candidates of Written Test selected for Interview will only be reimbursed 2nd Class Rail Fare or actual Rail / Bus fare whichever is lower by shortest route on production of receipt only & after appearing in Interview.

General Guidelines :
7. Report for Written Test on 05.01.14 at the venue atleast 30 minutes before scheduled time & produce Admit Card for entry. Candidate should also keep with him / her any original photo ID Card.
8. Electronic Equipments viz. Mobile Phone, calculator, calculator watch, camera etc. are not allowed inside the venue.
9. Produce all original certificates of educational / professional qualification, caste certificate, NOC if govt. employee etc. and submit one attested photocopy of the same & two passport size coloured photographs at the time of Personal Interview.
10. Candidates reporting after 10.30 AM at the venue will not be allowed to appear in Written Test.
